3On the Utility model using suitable holder to prevent the drive pulley from turning, remove the drive face nut and starter ratchet; then remove the drive pulley face
NOTE: The enginetransmission does not have to be removed from the frame for this procedure
Removing Left-Side Components
ARecoil Starter (Utility Model)

1Remove the five recoil starter cover cap screwsRemove the recoil starter assembly noting the location of the dowel pinsNote the condition of the recoil cover gasketReplace if damaged
