NOTE: The brake caliper on the DVX model contains two sets of brake padsThe front pads are controlled by the main brake lever and the rear pads are controlled by the auxiliary brake pedal
1Inspect the pads for gouges, chips, or wear2Inspect the disc for gouges, grooves, cracks, and warpage3Using calipers, measure the thickness of each brake pad4If the thickness of any brake pad is less than 1.0 mm (0.039 in, the brake pad must be replacedNOTE: The brake pads should be replaced as set
