To removecharge the battery, use the following procedure1Remove the seatOn the DVX model, remove the battery hold-down strapOn the Utility model, remove the battery box cover from the rear of the ATV; then remove the battery hold-down strapKM133A

Battery
The battery is located under the seatThe battery in this ATV is "sealed" type and does not require any maintenance unless dischargedDistilled water andor electrolyte cannot be added to the battery
2Remove the negative battery cable; then remove the positive cableRemove the battery from the ATV

Avoid spillage and contact with skin, eyes, and clothing
! CAUTION
Do not charge the battery while it is in the ATV with the battery terminals connected
