8Loosen the outer jam nut securing the throttle cable to the throttle body; then route the cable out of the way Connect the four electrical connectors to the throttle body componentsInstall the air filter housing boot and secure with the clamp; then install the air filter, air filter cover, storage compartment, and storage compartment coverInstall the seat making sure it locks securely in place
9Remove the four electrical connectors from the throttle body components

1 NOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary
10Remove the cap screws securing the intake pipe to the cylinder head and remove the throttle body assembly; then remove the intake pipe from the throttle bodyAccount for an O-ringing
