2Place the strainer cap into position on the strainer making sure new O-ring is properly installed and secure with the cap screws: then install and tighten the oil drain plug to specifications 7In crisscrosscase-to-case pattern, tighten the mm cap screws (from steps 3-4) until the halves are correctly joined; then tighten to specificationsI NOTE: Rotate the shafts back and forth to ensure no binding or sticking occursCC091D

3Place the oil pump into position in the crankcase and secure with the three Phillips-head screws coated with blue Loctite #243Tighten to specifications
