AT THIS POINT
For servicing the input shaft, pinion gear, needle bearing, and axle seal, see Front Differential in this section
3Remove the flange nut securing the hub4Remove the brake caliper
INSTALLING

1Slide the gear case into position through the left side of the frame; then secure it to the frame with cap screws and lock nutsTighten to specificationsNOTE: If new gear case is being installed, tighten the cap screws to 5.1-6.3 kg-m (37-45.5 ft-lb)
2Secure the engine output shaft to the rear gear case input flange with three cap screws (coated with red Loctite #271) and lock nutsTighten to specifications3Install the rear drive axles (see Drive Axles in this section)4Install the left-side rear A-arms (see Rear A-Arms in Section 7)
