7Install the engine drain plug and tighten to specifications (see Section 10)Pour the specified amount of the recommended oil in the filler holeInstall the oil filler cap Transmission Lubricant
Check and change the transmission lubricant according to the Maintenance ScheduleWhen adding or changing the lubricant, use approved SAE 80W-90 hypoid and use the following procedure1Place the ATV on level ground2Remove the transmission fill plugMake sure not to allow contaminants to enter the opening
! CAUTION
Any oil used in place of the recommended oil could cause serious engine damageDo not use racing, vegetable, non-detergent, and castor-based oils
8Start the engine (while the ATV is outside on level ground) and allow it to idle for few minutes9Turn the engine off and wait approximately three minutes10Remove the oil level stick and wipe it with clean cloth
