3Inspect the brake shoes for excessive wear or gouges4Inspect the sealing area of the hub for pits5Inspect the hub splines for signs of wear6Inspect the hub for cracks7Verify that the bearings turn freelyREMOVING HUB BEARINGS AND SEALS
1Secure the ATV on support stand to elevate the front wheels; then remove the wheels
! WARNING
Make sure the ATV is solidly supported on the support stand to avoid injury
1Carefully pry out inner and outer seals
2Remove the cotter pin from the castle nutNOTE: During installing, new cotter pin should be installedMD2385
2Drive out the inner and outer bearingsAccount for spacer
