4Install the drive chain (see Installing Drive Chain in this sub-section)5Install the chain guard and secure with two cap screwsTighten securely6Install the right rear wheel and hub as unit7Install the washer and castle nutTighten the castle nut to specifications MD2365

6Remove the two cap screws securing the chain guard to the axle housing7Slide the rear sprocket carrier and rear sprocket off the axle

8Install new cotter pin

8Remove three cap screws securing the sprocket to the sprocket carrier; then remove the sprocketINSTALLING REAR SPROCKET

1Secure the ATV on support stand to elevate the rear wheels
