NOTE: If the meter shows no battery voltage, troubleshoot the battery, switches, fuse holder, or the main wiring harness 1Remove the spark plug cap; then connect new spark plug to the spark plug cap and ground it to the cylinder head2Using the multimeter with the peak voltage adapter, connect the red tester lead (+) to the blackwhite lead wire (or to ground) and the black tester lead (-) to the black wire
! CAUTION
Always disconnect the battery when performing resistance tests to avoid damaging the multimeter
1Set the meter selector to the OHMS position2Connect the red tester lead to one spade end of the fuse; then connect the black tester lead to the other spade endSP313
3The meter must show less than ohm resistanceIf the meter reads open, replace the fuse
