2Remove the two nuts securing the fuel valve; then remove the valveAccount for the gasket3Inspect the gasket and fuel valvetank mating surfaces for damage or deterioration4Inspect for and remove any obstructions in the valveINSTALLING
Oil FilterOil Pump
NOTE: Whenever internal engine components wear excessively or break and whenever oil is contaminated, the oil pump should be disassembled, cleaned and inspected, and serviced as necessary
1Place the fuel valve and gasket into position on the tank and secure with the cap screwsTighten to specifications (see Section 10)2Install the hose onto the fuel valve with the spring clamp; then connect the vacuum hose
GasVent Hoses
Replace the gas hose every two yearsDamage from aging may not always be visibleDo not bend or obstruct the routing of the carburetor vent hoseMake certain that the vent hose is securely connected to the carburetor and the opposite end is always open
