6Install the new bearing using the bearing installer; then apply small amount of red Loctite #271 to the bearing retainer screws and tighten securely

1Place the crankshaft on set of V-blocks and mount dial indicator and base on the surface platePosition the indicator contact point against the center of the connecting rod small end journal2Zero the indicator and push the small end of the connecting rod away from the dial indicator3Maximum deflection must not exceed specificationsSP220
