ASSEMBLING
1Grease the splines of the ring gear2Make sure the rear gear caseaxle housing O-ring is properly positioned; then secure the axle housing to the rear gear case with two 33 mm (1.3 in cap screwsTighten to specificationsi NOTE: If new gear case is being installed, tighten the cap screws to 5.1-6.3 kg-m (37-45.5 ft-lb)
6Remove the axle housing from the gear caseAccount for gasket
3Secure the axle housing to the rear gear case with four 37 mm (1.5 in cap screwsTighten to specificationsCLEANING AND INSPECTING
i NOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessaryi NOTE: If new gear case is being installed, tighten the cap screws to 5.1-6.3 kg-m (37-45.5 ft-lb)
