2Place the pinion assembly in bearing puller; then install the bearing using press
5Install the shift fork shaft wlspring into the gear housing making sure the shaft O-ring is positioned to the inside
3Install the pinion gear assembly into the housingUsing the 48 mm Internal Hex Socket (pln 0444-104), secure the pinion gear assembly with the existing lock collarTighten to specifications1NOTE: On front differential, the lock collar has right-hand threadsOn rear gear case, the lock collar has left-hand threads
6Install the shift fork assembly making sure the fork leg is facing upwardApply small amount of oil to the gasket; then install the gasket
