2Install the engine brake cover making sure the seal is not damaged; then install the engine brake actuator and secure with three cap screwsTighten securely BRest the rod ends on the plastic actuator lever tips; then using calipers, measure the recess between the plate and rodsMeasure the installation length (A) of the actuator lever assembly between the V-belt cover lip (B) and the plastic tips (C) on the actuator using the following procedure
AInstall Actuator Lever Measurement Plate (pln 0444-185) and Rods (pln 0443-406) onto the V-belt cover; then install and tighten the two cover bolts
CIf the measurement is less than 1.33 mm (0.052 in, install the yellow actuator lever assembly (pln 3201-427)If the measurement is more than 2.47 mm (0.097 in, install the green actuator lever assembly (pln 3201-428)If the measurement is not within the specified length after the actuator lever assembly is replaced, install the V-belt cover assembly and install the uncolored actuator lever assembly (pln 3201-429)4Ensure the V-belt cover seal is securely seated in the groove and the belt failure detection switch is set to the normal position
