16Remove the four cap screws securing the rear output joint to the transmission and push the shaft away from the transmission I NOTE: It will not be necessary to disconnect the choke cable
CRoute the carburetor assembly up and away from the engine
On the 4x4, remove the cap screws and nuts securing the propeller shaft to the front differential couplerDetach the carburetor using the following procedureADisconnect the crankcase vent hose from the air cleaner housingRemove the clamps securing the air intake hose to the carburetor; then remove the air cleaner housing
I NOTE: Use cable ties or tape to secure the carburetor assembly above the handlebars to keep it from interfering with the removal procedure
