2Using plastic mallet, lightly tap the case halves together until cap screws can be installed 3From the left side, install the shift cable bracket and the crankcase cap screws noting the location of the different-lengthed cap screws; then tighten only until snugIRotate the shafts back and forth to ensure no binding or sticking occurs while tightening the cap screws
16On the 300, install the oil breather screen noting the direction of the tabs from disassembly
Joining Crankcase Halves
1Verify that the alignment pins are in place and that both case halves are clean and grease freeApply Three Bond Sealant (pln 0636-070) to the mating surfacesPlace the right-side half onto the left-side half
