3Remove the two cap screws and lock nuts securing the rear gear case to the frame; then move the gear case to the rear sufficiently to disengage the splined yoke from the rear output spline shaftRemove through the left frame opening 2Thread lug nut onto the stud; then using hammer drive the stud out of the hub

NOTE: If the threads are damaged, simply drive the stud out without threading on nut
AT THIS POINT

! WARNING
If any studs are loose in the hub, the hub must be replacedLoose studs will not hold the wheel securely to the hub and hub breakage or wheel loss could occur causing loss of control, injury, or death
INSTALLING 1Slide the gear case into position through the left side of the frame; then move the gear case to the rear sufficiently to engage the splined yoke with the splined rear output shaft2Position the gear case so the mounting cap screws can be installed; then with washers and new lock nuts, tighten to 4.3-5.3 kg-m (31-38 ft-lb)NOTE: If new gear housing is being installed, tighten the cap screws to 5.1-6.3 kg-m (37-45.5 ft-lb)
