4Fill wash pan larger than the filter with non-flammable cleaning solvent; then dip the filter in the solvent and wash itNOTE: Foam Filter Cleaner (pn 0436-194) and Foam Filter Oil (pn 0436-195) are available from Arctic Cat 5Dry the filter6Put the filter in plastic bag; then pour in air filter oil and work the filterReattach the filter to the frameKX038
2Unsnap the four clips securing the storage compartmentfilter housing cover; then remove and set aside
! CAUTION
A torn air filter can cause damage to the ATV engineDirt and dust may get inside the engine if the element is tornCarefully examine the element for tears before and after cleaning itReplace the element with new one if it is torn
7Clean any dirt or debris from inside the air cleanerBe sure no dirt enters the carburetor8Place the filter assembly in the air filter housing making sure it is properly positioned and properly seated with the filter frame down9Install the air filter housing cover and secure with the retaining clips; then install the storage compartment cover housingKX031
