Front Differential (FIS Models)

NOTE: To remove the rear gear case on 400500 FIS models, see Rear Gear Case (400500 FIS Models) in this section
REMOVING DIFFERENTIAL

1Secure the ATV on support stand to elevate the wheels

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the brake hoses from the calipers for this procedureMake sure the ATV is solidly supported on the support stand to avoid injury
7Remove the brake calipersAccount for the cap screws
2Remove the drain plug and drain the gear lubricant into drain pan; then reinstall the plugFront Differential
