Oil Temperature Svvitch (250300400)
NOTE: Neither the temperature switch nor the thermometer should be allowed to touch the bottom of the container or inaccurate readings will occurUse wire holders to suspend switch and thermometer
1Connect the meter leads (selector in the OHMS position) to the temperature switch contacts2Suspend the temperature switch and thermometer in container of oil; then heat the oil NOTE: Neither the temperature switch nor the thermometer should be allowed to touch the bottom of the container or inaccurate readings will occurUse wire holders to suspend switch and thermometerTemperature Switch
3When the water temperature reaches ll5 (239 F), the meter should read closed circuit4Allow the water to cool, and when the temperature is at (or just before) temperature of 108 (226 F), the meter should read an open circuit5If the readings are not as indicated, the temperature switch must be replaced6Install the switch and tighten securely7Connect the temperature switch leads
