9Remove the snap ring securing the water pump driven gear shaft
12Using an impact driver, remove the two screws securing the oil strainer; then remove the strainer

10Using hydraulic press, remove the crankshaft assembly NOTE: Use protective end cap to prevent damage to the crankshaft threads
& CAUTION
Do not remove the remaining output shaft assembly unless absolutely necessaryIf the shaft is removed, the shaft nut must be replaced with new one and the shaft must be re-shimmed
