2Using plastic mallet, lightly tap the case halves together until cap screws can be installed3From the right side, install the crankcase cap screws noting the location of the different-sized cap screws; then tighten only until snug NOTE: Rotate the shafts back and forth to ensure no binding or sticking occurs while tightening the cap screws
5In crisscrosscase-to-case pattern, tighten the mm cap screws until the halves are correctly joined; then tighten to 2-2.4 kg-m (14.5-17 ft-Ib) NOTE: Rotate the shafts back and forth to ensure no binding or sticking occurs
6In crisscrosscase-to-case pattern, tighten the mm cap screws to 0.9-1.3 kg-m (6.5-9.5 ft-Ib) NOTE: Rotate the shafts back and forth to ensure no binding or sticking occursIf'
