CLEANING AND INSPECTING NOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary Fender Flares Extensions
REMOVING
1Clean all fender components with part-cleaning solvent and soap and water2Inspect fenders for cracks andor loose rivets3Inspect for any missing decalsINSTALLING
1Using side-cutter, remove the appropriate plastic rivetsNOTE: If removing front extension, remove the self-tapping screw securing the extension to the side panel
1Place the fenders into position on the footrest and frame; secure with machine screwsFig8-71
2Remove the screws securing the extensions or flares to the frame and footrestAccount for concave washers and T-nutsNOTE: The rear extensions are secured with clips and self-tapping screwsINSTALLING
