CLEANING AND INSPECTING
Front Rack
REMOVING

NOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary
1Remove the screws and washers securing the fenders to the rackFig8-57

1Clean all rack components with parts-cleaning solvent2Inspect all welds for cracking or bending3Inspect threaded areas of all mounting bosses for stripping4Inspect for missing decals andor reflectorsINSTALLING

1Place the rack into position on the frame and bumperStart the cap screws and finger-tighten only2Install the screws and washers securing the rack to the fendersDo not tighten at this timeAF600DA
