12Secure the hub nut (threads coated with green Loctite #270) to the shaftaxleTighten to 10.4 kg-m (75 ft-lb)13Install new cotter pin and spread the pin to secure the nut14Install the wheel cap15Install the wheel and tighten to 6.9 kg-m (50 ft-lb)Fig8-37
3Place the ATV in level position taking care not to push down or lift up on the front end; then turn the handlebar to the straight ahead positionNOTE: When measuring and adjusting, there should be normal operating load on the ATV (without an operator but with Arctic Cat approved accessories)
4Measure the distance from the outside edge of each handlebar grip to the seat catch bracketsFig8-39
