NOTE: Make sure the E-ring is fully seated and the impeller rotates freely
2Connect the two coolant hoses to the water pump and secure with the clampsFig4-152
5While holding the bearing housing assembly in position on the engine, slowly rotate the impeller until the impellershaft engages properly with its slot in the driven shaftNOTE: The bearing housing will be flush with the engine when the two shafts are properly engaged
! CAUTION
Failure to properly engage the two shafts could cause serious engine damage
