20Remove the cap screw from the end of the chain tensioner; then using flat-blade screwdriver, rotate the adjuster screw inside the tensioner clockwise until the screw bottomsFig3-537

18Install the cylinder head plug in the cylinder head with the open end facing upward and toward the inside

The open end of the plug must be positioned upwardFig3-535

NOTE: The adjuster shaft will be drawn into the tensioner as the adjuster screw is rotated clockwiseThe adjuster shaft tension will be released in step 22
