1Turn the gas tank valve to the OFF position and lay the ATV on its side; then remove the cap screws securing the right-side cover to the crankcaseRemove the coverNote the locations of the long cap screw and rubber washer and the two wire formsAccount for the gasket and for two alignment pinsFig3-85
2Slide the clutch release arm and gear shift shaft out of the crankcase; then in crisscross pattern, remove the four cap screws securing the clutch release roller assemblyFig3-87
